GenMai Cha - A traditional blend of Japanese green tea with roasted rice and popcorn. The name means "roasted rice tea". The blend was developed by Japanese peasants who extended their precious supply of tea - at that time barely affordable - by mixing in the other two ingredients. Over time it has developed a following beyond its humble origin. Smooth, subtle, nutty flavour with agreeable fragrance. Ingredients: Japanese green tea, roasted rice and popcorn.
